Question 1

What kind of partner is Nodal?

Accepted Answer

We are a business-driven systems engineering and applied AI partner. We start with people and processes, identify opportunities, and follow through with design, development and measurement.

Question 2

Does every solution use AI?

Accepted Answer

No. AI is a central capability, but we choose it when it improves the outcome. A better integration, a simpler automation or a change to existing software may be the right answer.

Question 3

Will you always recommend building new software?

Accepted Answer

No. Evaluation can conclude that you should keep your existing software. We compare improving, integrating, buying and building against expected benefits, feasibility and the full ongoing cost.

Question 4

How does an engagement start?

Accepted Answer

We start with a completely free conversation to understand your needs and explore the possibilities together. You do not need to have identified a problem or prepared anything. We ask the questions and help you see what could be worth exploring further, with no obligation.

Question 5

What does it cost and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Scope, integrations, data and security requirements determine the investment and timeline. We agree these before work begins and distinguish implementation costs from licences, hosting, AI usage and ongoing maintenance.

Question 6

What does customer ownership mean?

Accepted Answer

We design for customer control and flexibility. Rights to code, data and infrastructure, third-party licences and operational responsibilities are agreed in the contract. Ownership does not remove hosting, maintenance or other running costs.

Question 7

How do you handle data and AI quality?

Accepted Answer

We agree permitted data sources, access, retention and security requirements for each engagement. AI-assisted analysis uses customer-authorized information, with human validation and quality checks suited to the workflow.

Question 8

How do you measure value?

Accepted Answer

We establish a baseline and agreed success criteria, then compare actual costs, time savings, adoption and operational quality with expectations. Savings and ROI depend on the context and are not guaranteed.

Question 9

What happens after delivery?

Accepted Answer

We provide documentation and handover, with a clear plan for operation and maintenance. Your team’s responsibilities and any ongoing support from us are agreed as part of the engagement.
