Cookies and visit statistics

In short

The site uses no cookies. Visit statistics only run if you allow them, and you can change your mind at any time.

What is stored in your browser

We save your choice in your browser's local storage under the name nodal-consent, so that we don't have to ask on every visit. It holds only your choice and the date. After 12 months we ask again.

Visit statistics, if you allow them

If you allow statistics, your browser sends information about the visit, such as the page you visit, where you came from and which browser you use. We look at aggregate numbers to understand how the site is used and improve it. We don't use them for marketing or to identify you.

Plausible Analytics: visit statistics. According to the supplier, the information is processed on EU-owned servers in Germany and Finland.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights: visit statistics and measurement of how fast the site loads, from our web host.

Our own measurement: counts page views and visitors. Visitors are counted with a code created from the IP address and browser details, which changes every day. Neither the code nor the IP address is stored in plain text. Aggregate daily numbers are kept for about 400 days.

If you decline

None of the statistics services run, and the site works as usual.

Fonts and contact form

The fonts are hosted on our own website, so no visitor information is sent to a font service. If you send the contact form, your information passes through our form service. This is described in our privacy policy.
